Scope Statement:
The AI Transformation Leader certification validates knowledge, skills, and abilities spanning both the DCWF AI Innovation Leader (902) and AI Adoption Specialist (753) work roles, ensuring graduates can define AI vision and policy and drive successful adoption across cyber and intelligence mission. Candidates will exhibit the ability to strategically lead, govern and operationalize AI initiatives that deliver measurable mission and enterprise value. Candidates will demonstrate proficiency in applying frameworks, governance models, and decision-making tools to oversee responsible AI adoption while balancing innovation, risk, and compliance across complex technical and organizational environments. In addition, candidates will exhibit the ability to design AI strategies, implement governance structures, align investments, and manage multidisciplinary teams to ensure sustainable, ethical, and impactful AI outcomes.

AI Strategy & Governance:
Guides candidates in developing and governing mission-aligned AI adoption strategies.
Risk, Ethics, & Regulations:
Prepares leaders to interpret and apply applicable AI regulations, policies, and ethical standardswhile conducting risk management
Management Planning:
Prepares leaders to plan and align the organizational resources, capabilities, and structures required to sustain AI initiatives.
Metrics & Evaluation:
Focuses on defining and monitoring metrics that capture AI program impact, quality, efficiency, and oversight. Leads continuous assessment and improvements of AI programs.
Engagement, Advocacy & Education:
Coordinates and advises senior leadership and internal / external partners to advance AI objectives. Promotes AI literacy across audiences.
